When I first started my Transformation program with Ean, I was a hesitant and anxious small business owner. I constantly questioned my own decisions, had several sleepless nights and felt like the whole thing could go up in smoke at any moment. Yes, I was building my business, but I was so consumed by fear and angst, I wasn’t enjoying any of it. I signed up with Ean for a year-long program. Within a couple of months, my self-doubt started to lessen. Within six months I felt more powerful than I had in the past 5 years. By the end of the year my business was growing quickly and I was loving of it. Ean was helping me develop my inner world, something I had completely ignored being so focused on the external. As I strengthened internally, so did my business, my culture, my employees and client relationships. My business has since doubled working with Ean and I am on a path of self-realization that has completely changed my life. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

When you struggle with something for too long sometimes you start to normalize it and then it just becomes part of your every day life. That is how I felt about food for as long as I can remember. When I moved to Canada I decided that too long is too long and I started swimming, running and going to the gym 6 days a week and in about 1.5 years I dropped from 230 Lbs to 175 Lbs, I was in great shape but even then I still had trouble with food. Years passed and I decided to go back to climbing. I joined CCC (Coffee, Climbing & Conditioning) a climbing workout class taught by Ean Kramer. Right away I noticed improvements.
My climbing got better and better but the food was still a problem. I could not stop thinking about the calories, sugar content, carbs and when and where that was going to affect my body. I got stressed out and I started gaining weight. In a way to fight that, I decided to challenge myself to climb something hard – Zombie Roof 5.13a and I failed.
It has been one year since I started studying Kung Fu with Ean Kramer, and my body is doing things that I never thought possible. At age 51, I am stronger, more flexible and more coordinated than I have ever been in my entire life.
I remember when I first started. Ean would demonstrate an exercise or a move, and I would think to myself (and sometimes even say out loud), “Are you f*ckin kidding? It looked impossible. Then, a few weeks later, I would be doing it without even thinking.
Ean seems to be able to easily assess what your limitations are and how to remove them. He gives you the perfect stretches, exercises and drills exactly when you need them, so that when he introduces a challenging move, you are completely ready for it. Executing it is never as hard as you expected it to be.
The continual cycle of learning something new, complex and bit overwhelming and then mastering it, has done wonders for my confidence in every area of my life. I have stopped doubting my ability to do anything. Ean has shown me that if I just open my mind and do the work, there are no limitations.
Who knows, one day I may even be Wonder Woman.

Here are some testimonials from participants of my Coffee, Climbing & Conditioning Class aka CCC:
I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The climbing drills and circuit training exercises were carefully planned to gradually build strength, endurance, and skill over the course of the year. My climbing has improved tremendously since September. And my overall body fitness, strength, and balance is amazing. Great for climbing, but also great for feeling strong in everything I do and overall health. On top of all that, you have built a wonderful community of climbers and friends. The supportive and motivational environment drew us all closer. I now have 20 new friends to go climbing with!

Thank you so very much for another fun ccc session. I found it most enjoyable because it was so motivating and I always do better in group activities compared to doing things on my own. At one point before I started ccc, I use to go to the gym to climb just for something to do. Now after three sessions of ccc I not only enjoy climbing so much more but I also enjoy bigger challenges and I am stronger than I have ever been before. I feel much healthier and the sessions in the mornings is what I so desperately needed for a balance between my long nights driving and trying to sleep in the day. I also found that for all three sessions the people were all fun to be with. I guess climbers are just cool fun people in general.
I look forward to our next session and wish you and your family a most wonderful and long summer.

Just read this in the Vancouver Sun (http://www.vancouversun.com/health/diet-fitness/Jill+Barker+minutes+pain+worth/8449976/story.html) and realized that what these people are marketing is only 25% of what we do at CCC (after climbing for 90 minutes). Thank you for helping us all to become so fit. I am thrilled with the progress that I have made over the past three years. I think I am stronger than I have ever been in my life.

I thought it was a great year and really love the program. I can’t really think of anything I would change, other than the registration panic which you already mentioned.
Thanks for everything. Hope you have a great summer and see you in the fall.

Recommendation of Personal Training
From:
Nan Fowler
When my son Terance Fowler & his wife bought Jeannes Body Tech in the
heart of Buckhead, he gave me a free membership
in exchange for my helping as needed in the gym. I had belonged to
other health clubs through the years, but at the time was
not a member anyplace. In fact, as a result of serious throat cancer
surgery in 1991 & a total glossectomy, I was not exercising
at all. I had had serious heart problems since I was 5 yrs. old & was
anticipating the necessity of a new heart valve. I was simply
not strong enough to work through any of the hour long classes.
However, I wanted to learn Pilates, but simply knew that would
be impossible for me. One of the employees in the gym suggested that
I work with a Personal Trainer named Ean Kramer who taught
Pilates at the gym. He was gracious enough to take me on as a client.
He started me at the most basic level & worked with me
on a 1 to 1 basis several times a week over a period of many months
until I was finally able to work out with/in the Pilates class. He
never pushed me to do more than I was able to accomplish in a short
period of time.In fact, he inspired me to start taking a Tai Chi
class. I was finally able to work out with the Pilates Classes on a
regular basis. After Ean moved out of Atlanta, I continued to
exercise. I eventually had a total mitral valve replacement. My
cardiologist recommended that I continue working out (exercising) on a
regular basis. He felt that because of my regular exercise I was able
to recover from the open heart surgery relatively quickly.
I strongly recommend Ean Kramer as a Personal Trainer based on the
years that I worked out with him. The really great approach
that Ean has/had was that he accepted me at the low level I was and
worked with me to build not only my strength, but also my self
confidence, As a 73 year old woman, I whole heartily endorse Ean
Kramer as a fantastic personal trainer!!!

I have worked with Ean Kramer, doing Pilates mat classes and training on
the reformer, for 5 years, and would still be working with him if he had not left Atlanta.
Ean is a very caring person and it comes through in the way he teaches a class or trains people. When I trained with him on the reformer I was a little nervous doing some of the exercises, but I did them because Ean was at my side, and I felt secure. My trust in him enabled me to attempt things that I would never do on my own. I really enjoyed training with him.
I am 80 years of age today, and still work out 5 days a week, one hour on the machines and one hour in a Silver Sneakers class. I would love to do Pilates, but have not found another Ean to guide me. He did give me a CD of one of his classes, that I still do.
I would give anything to work with him either in a class or training on a reformer.. I know so many people that feel the same way I do.

I had the honor of working with Ean Kramer a few years back when I was entering my 50’s. In a word, he is Sifu … a master of his art with few equals. A bold statement indeed … but let me explain.
Many martial art instructors teach their craft from the standpoint of external exercise to sharpen and strengthen the body. Ean is Sifu because he long ago realized that the body is servant to the mind, inspired by the heart and driven by energy.
It is with this understanding that he worked with my mind, body and spirit to free it from its limitations and open the doors of my potential. For many months the body-mind dynamics were in resistance and push-back, but then one day it surrendered and in that surrender I began down the road of own personal victory.
I would recommend Ean Kramer to anyone who appreciates a master who can not only read your body, but who can also read your heart and spirit. Let not his gentle nature fool you … he is a fierce competitor and fighting machine as his awards and honors will attest. I only wish he were back in Atlanta, Georgia again.

ANDY S.
I first started working with Ean in May of 2010. Honestly, I wish I could remember the exact date; as it began a significant chapter in my life. I believe certain people and experiences have a profound effect on the outcome of one’s life. Ean embodies this thought completely.
I initially started training with Ean on a whim. Ean worked with a very good friend of mine and offered to train him informally in the My Jhong Law Horn style of Kung Fu. My friend was immediately hooked and suggested I come with him.
The training was unlike any activity I tried before. More importantly, however, Ean was unlike any other teacher or trainer I had encountered before. I was in terrible shape when I started training with Ean. – I had never been involved in physical activity much. A recent career change had occupied much of my time, but I quickly realized a life and priority change was necessary or I would be facing health complications in the future. Friends and family had similar concerns and had tried to help me find a solution.
Supremely patient and completely adaptive, I immediately felt Ean made ME a priority. It’s only in retrospect that I can really appreciate the gains and changes that I’ve experienced in the past 2.5 years. Ean is like a swiss-army knife of personal training; He draws upon various disciplines, arts, and training methods to ensure his clients develop completely across the entire spectrum of physical fitness. As our training progressed, he helped me set realistic goals and see them to fruition by introducing different cross training exercises from yoga, Pilates, gymnastics and rock climbing. Whenever my goals changed, Ean was always able to pull out a new tool to adapt to these new requirements. I now find myself stronger, fitter and more confident in any active endeavor.
As my fitness level increased, I started training with other people or trainers. While these were enjoyable experiences they never quite yielded the same results. Ean, and his wife, Shauna are excellent at bridging the gap between mind and body – something I found crucial to development.
Recently I was asked to lead and demonstrate a strength and conditioning class. This was a huge step for me. It was incredibly rewarding to be able to put the skills Ean taught me to help others experience their own goals.
Starting at 230lbs, not being able to do a single pushup, and on the brink of obesity, I can’t recommend Ean more, to anyone, who wants to get their life back on track both mentally and physically. When I started this journey, I just wanted to try a new martial art. Under Ean’s tutelage I learned much more and found a teacher, mentor and friend. It’s never too late to start. You’re never too old or too unfit to make a lifestyle change.
