We are whole beings made up of mind, body and emotions. Someone once said that our body is a living metaphor for our mind and our emotions. When we accumulate stress, whether mental or emotional, if not dealt with in a healthy way, the stress manifests in the body. Longevity training also addresses whatever issue that comes up in the moment in order to improve, heal and adapt as a whole being so that we may achieve and experience all that we desire.
“An object in motion, stays in motion.” In the case of our bodies, in order to keep them flexible, we must keep the parts moving. Just like parts of a car may rust from disuse, so too may parts of the body accumulate stress and lose flexibility with disuse. The body is an adaptive thing. It adapts to it’s environment. That’s what it was designed to do. It adapts to it’s environment and what it perceives. It perceives what you think and what you believe. The human brain cannot tell the difference between what you are seeing with your eyes and what you are imagining in your mind. It perceives both are real. So it would be very helpful if the thoughts that you are thinking support whatever it is you desire to experience.
My desire is to share with you what is possible for you. In my humble opinion, you can move beyond your perceived limits and you will do things that you don’t think you can presently. I would like to help you make that happen. My intention is to do things that I love to do like rock climbing and kung fu and tai chi when I’m 80. I intend to continue to improve with age in mind, body and energy. Wouldn’t it be great if we all were healthier so that we could enjoy and experience not only our lives, but witness and share more time with friends and loved ones?
